What is Christmas Night at Joe Blacks (my step-dad's bar) without the Man-in-Red?
He came in . . . .
Ella was terrified,

but Grandma Barb was there to protect her!
But she came around :)

We were so happy that some sisters could be there to celebrate! :)

We line up to take a girl-only family photo
(left to right) my sister Ali, my sister Jess, Cousin Lauren, mom, Aunt Terri, and me)
. . . then we get heckeled from some bar-people . . .

so they get a little talking to from the Birthday Girl
and a gesture or two . . .

Cheers to you, Mom!

On the morning of the 27th, we headed even further north to Argyle to celebrate Christmas with the Adolphsons! This is what we were traveling in . . . looks more like Antarctica!

We took our annual two-horse-open-sleigh-ride with Grandpa Adolphson. What can I say, this is an awesome tradition that our girls will be telling their grand kids about.

Ahhhh....finally! Your mom and her sisters could not possibly be any cuter. Also, love the photo of Claire with the HUGE Budweiser sign abover her head!....I am so proud of Ms. Ella for meeting Santa up close! Lastly, have I told you how fabulously hot you're looking these days! Thanks for the Adolphson Christmas post. Looks like you did a wonderful job on your Mom's party!...and she looks like she did a pretty good job of having fun! hehe!
Hi Annie: Loved all the great Christmas/Birthday pictures...not to mention the commentary!...you have such a flair for writing...Gr/Gr Grandpa Arnould passed his gift onto you! Glad you got back home safely before the storm hit...you would not have been impressed and would probably just be on the road back home now! Thanks again for the fantastic party you girls and Denny put on for me...so much fun! Love, Mom
